What happens at Morning Circle?
Morning Circle is where the school community meets and celebrates the opening of the school day. Morning Circle can include school announcements from Principal Machado and others, team-building exercises such as clapping in, or simply a cheerful “Good Morning!” On Thursdays the children receive their Penguin Praises, and on Fridays we dance. Parents and families are always welcome! After Morning Circle, all the kids line up with their teacher and go to their classrooms.

Are kids allowed to bring cell phones to school?
Students are allowed to carry cell phones to school. However, phones must be turned off and stored out of sight (in the student’s backpack or with the classroom teacher) during the school day. Parent permission to carry a phone must be on file in the school office. If you need to reach your child during the school day, please contact the school directly at (415) 241-6276.
