Eureka Valley Neighborhood Association (EVNA) is having a free neighborhood street party to celebrate the iconic Upper Market Mural “Chant of the Earth, Voice of the Land” originally painted in 1981.
Friday, May 3 from 5-8 pm to 19th Street (between Market Street and Caselli Avenue) with a short program at 6pm. There will be music, performers, and neighbors are encouraged to bring tasty snacks to share. The party is a special stop on the route for the monthly first-Friday Castro Art Walk
